The Fitness Mindset

Details

Please go to the courses page for full information. Brief description: Develop the psychological foundation for lifelong physical activity. Physical fitness is at least as much psychology as physiology. Your beliefs about exercise, identity around physical capability, and relationship with your body determine whether you maintain fitness habits long-term or cycle through endless start-stop patterns. The Fitness Mindset addresses the psychological dimension of fitness. You'll examine your beliefs about exercise and physical capability, develop a positive relationship with movement, and build the mental framework that supports consistent physical activity. Drawing from sport psychology, behavior change research, and exercise adherence studies, the course covers motivation, identity, self-efficacy, and working with the psychological barriers that keep people sedentary despite good intentions. Through our ACT Triangle methodology, you'll shift your fitness psychology during the course. You'll identify and challenge limiting beliefs, build exercise identity, and develop the mindset that makes movement a natural part of life rather than constant struggle. Because lasting fitness starts in your mind.
