Pregnancy transforms your body—and your fitness approach must transform too. Yet most pregnant people receive little guidance beyond "don't overdo it," leaving them unsure what's safe, what's beneficial, and how to maintain fitness during this profound physical change. Training for Two provides comprehensive fitness guidance for pregnancy and postpartum. You'll learn what's safe during each trimester, beneficial exercises for pregnancy, modifications for changing bodies, and how to rebuild fitness after birth. Drawing from prenatal exercise research, sports medicine, and women's health expertise, the course covers the real questions pregnant people have: what exercises to continue, what to modify, what to stop, and how to stay active safely throughout pregnancy. Through our ACT Triangle methodology, you'll develop your pregnancy fitness approach during the course. You'll adapt your current practice, implement safe modifications, and build the knowledge that serves you through pregnancy and recovery.
