The Shame Resilience Journey

Details

Transform your relationship with shame from paralyzing to informative. Shame is perhaps the most painful human emotion—the feeling of being fundamentally flawed, unworthy, not enough. Unlike guilt (which says "I did something bad"), shame says "I am bad." This distinction matters for how you work with it. The Shame Resilience Journey develops your capacity to recognize, survive, and grow from shame experiences. You'll understand shame's origins, its triggers, its effects, and evidence-based approaches for developing shame resilience. Drawing from Brené Brown's shame research, psychology of self-concept, and therapeutic approaches to shame, the course provides both insight and practical tools. You'll learn to recognize shame as it arises and respond in ways that reduce rather than reinforce it. Through our ACT Triangle methodology, you'll practice shame resilience during the course. You'll identify shame triggers, develop counter-responses, and build the self-compassion that makes shame survivable. Because shame loses power when met with empathy—especially self-empathy.
