Please go to the courses page for full information. Brief description: Navigate psychiatric medication decisions with clarity and confidence. Psychiatric medication decisions are significant—and often poorly supported. You may receive a prescription with little explanation, conflicting opinions from professionals, and judgment from others. Making informed decisions requires education you often don't receive. The Medication Decision provides comprehensive psychiatric medication education. You'll learn how different medication classes work, what research shows about effectiveness, what to expect from medication, and how to work effectively with prescribers. Drawing from psychiatry, psychopharmacology, and patient education research, the course presents balanced information—not pro-medication or anti-medication, but informed. You'll have the knowledge to participate meaningfully in medication decisions. Through our ACT Triangle methodology, you'll develop clarity about your own medication decisions. You'll understand your options, formulate questions for providers, and feel confident about choices you make. Because medication decisions should be yours—informed, not pressured.
